ST – Two death penalties have been handed down to an Oildale man who violated a restraining order and killed his estranged wife and her mother while their children were home. Robert Fuller shot Annette Sowders-Fuller and Sharon Sue Cannon in 2009, and family friend Frankie Wright says the girls, who were five and eight years old, have been living in fear ever since. “I think it makes the girls feel safe knowing that he’s not going to be out there to hurt them. But I don’t think that they’ll ever get closure from their dad taking their mom or their grandma.” The girls told the judge at Wednesday’s sentencing that they love him because he’s their dad, but they hate him for what he did.
