The 40-year-old woman who was found dead in a motel room on Union Avenue in Bakersfield has been identified by the Kern County Coroner’s Office as 40-year-old Angela McCall.

Workers at the Villa Inn found McCall at around 11 a.m. Friday. Police have launched a homicide investigation.
