Cal State-Bakersfield has hired a new provost and vice president for academic affairs.

Dr. Jenny Zorn will join the school in July after serving in a similar capacity at Humboldt State University, and has spent the last 26 years in the CSU system.

She will replace Dr. Soraya Corley, who was named Cal Poly-Ponoma president last fall.
