The six-month-old boy found dead at a motel in southeast Bakersfield has been identified by the coroner’s office as William Michael Leron O’Neal.

Sheriff’s detectives say O’Neal was found not breathing as he shared a bed with his mother at the El Don Motel in southeast Bakersfield on Monday. Detectives are investigating the death as a matter of routine.
