The price of crude slipped $4.16 on Monday as investors reacted to greater oil production numbers and the rejection of bailout terms in Greece.

It finished at $52.77 a barrel.

Stocks were also down. The Dow fell 47 points, the Nasdaq lost 17 and the S&P 500 dropped eight.
