A former Tehachapi-based Kern County Sheriff’s deputy accused of detaining, strip-searching and inappropriately touching two female victims in 2013 has pleaded no contest to multiple charges, including false imprisonment and sexual battery.
Gabriel Lopez will be sentenced Sept. 2.
