The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a 12-year-old Wasco girl missing since Aug. 19.

Wendy Barrita was last seen near 9th and P streets and is considered at risk because of her age, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

Barrita is 4-foot-11, weighs 140 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
