Three Kern County Sheriff’s deputies who shot a suicidal teenager in Oildale have been cleared for the incident that happened July 24th. A review found Deputies Scott Wall, Daniel Willis and Dennis Coffee acted within department policy when they fired on the 16-year-old girl, who pointed a pellet gun at Deputy Wall in Standard Park. She was struck in the abdomen and survived. She also pointed a fake gun at officers in May.
