A deputy on courthouse duty in downtown Bakersfield has been arrested on for public intoxication. 26-year-old Deputy Gideon Aliday was booked for public intoxication Friday morning when he displayed unusual behavior while on the job. An evaluation found he was apparently under the influence of something and was taken to the jail and booked.
