A new five acre park could be coming to McFarland.The park will happen if the National Park Service accepts a state recommendation to spend $1 million to create the Villa de Caribe Park. It would include sports fields and courts but awaits final approval from Washington. State Parks also announced Friday funding for the North Beardsley skatepark in Bakersfield to the amount of $442,000.
