A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for a new spray park in east Bakersfield. Kern County Parks will turn on the waterworks in Pioneer Park next Wednesday at noon at a facility that includes all the popular features. The spray park cost $748 thousand and was funded by the State Department of Housing and Community Development.
