A lawsuit has been filed against the Beardsley School District.Bakersfield Attorney Daniel Rodriguez filed the civil suit on behalf of two junior high students who had sex with a teacher. This week’s filing says the district knew about improper Facebook messages by teacher Vanessa Hooker but only warned staff against social media contact with students. Hooker is serving one year in jail after pleading no contest in February for having sex with students.
