A man who as shot in northeast Bakersfield is recovering with non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim was attacked around 10:40 Sunday morning on Flower Street near Tulare Street, and detectives say the suspect is an adult male with a heavy build who was wearing a white shirt and dark shorts when he ran from the scene.
