Remains found on a property burned by the Erskine Fire have been determined to be that of an animal and not human. The coroner’s office took the badly burned remains from a property on Fiddleneck Street in the South Lake area on Saturday and brought them to Bakersfield for testing. The Coroner confirmed the finding Monday morning but did not say what kind of animal it was.
