A person who got out of their car after an accident on Stockdale Hwy in southwest Bakersfield has been killed after being struck by another car.

Police say it happened around 1:15 Tuesday morning between N. El Rio Drive and Ashe Road. Traffic was restricted in that area until 6:00a.m.
