The cause of a fire in an east Bakersfield garage is undetermined, but the damage is about $25,000. Kern County firefighters came out to the structure on East Brundage Lane near Sterling Road around 12:20 Tuesday morning.

Residents in the attached home are getting help with temporary shelter from the Red Cross.
