A 60-year-old woman was seriously injured when she was hit by a car.She was crossing Flower Street at West Drive in Bakersfield. The accident happened at 8:45 Thursday night near Kern Medical where the victim is listed in critical but stable condition. The car that hit her drove off but may have returned to the scene according to police.
