One person has been arrested after a mattress fire at the Mill Creek Courtyard senior housing in central Bakersfield. Fire crews were called out to the apartments on South S Street just after 9:00 AM Thursday and quickly extinguished the burning bed. No one was hurt and damage was minimal but arson investigators arrested an unnamed suspect at the scene.
