A man who was injured when a hit and run driver slammed into his car on Ming Avenue and Hughes Lane is in critical condition at a Bakersfield hospital, and the person suspected of causing the crash is in jail.

Police say Juan Saucedo Jr. did not even have a license. His Acura RSX was found near the scene of Wednesday’s accident.
