WARNING ABOUT WHAT?

Warning sirens will be sounding again in the Lake Isabella area. The County Fire Department and Office of Emergency Services say they will resume testing sirens that were installed in 2006 for possible evacuations related to the Lake Isabella Dam. The routine siren tests were suspended during the years of the drought. Interestingly, the water level is still being kept from reaching the dam despite an easing of the drought.
