The man who was hit and killed as he was crossing Stockdale Highway has been identified as Ry-Mane Foreman.

Bakersfield Police believe 23-year-old William Bass was drunk when he struck Foreman just before 2:30 Friday morning near California Avenue. The accident closed lanes for several hours and sent Bass to the hospital.
