The memorial service for Bakersfield Police Sgt. Dennis Moore is wrapping up and the procession to the cemetery will soon follow. Moore died last week of a heart attack as he was getting ready for work. Moore was 47 and began his career with Arvin PD, and hundreds turned out for this morning’s [thu] service at Riverlakes Community Church in northwest Bakersfield. The funeral procession to Greenlawn Southwest will roll down Calloway Drive, Hageman Road, Knudsen and Olive drives to Hwy 99, then to Hosking Avenue and up Wible Road to Panama Lane.
