The Better Business Bureau says watch out for scammers who may be posing as Hurricane Harvey victims online. Spokeswoman Kayleena Speakman says crowd funding sites have made it easier for con artists to fleece people for thousands of dollars because fake pages can be hard to spot and take down.

She recommends only donating to verified charities or people you know.
