Two men are dead in separate shootings this weekend in Lamont.

The first was Saturday morning on Waco Avenue and School Street where a man was was killed; the second was about a mile away that afternoon on Main Street between Wharton and Kearney avenues when a man was also killed and two bystanders were injured.
