A murder charge has been dismissed against a 19-year-old man accused of killing another man in McFarland. Samuel Alaniz had been in jail since the shooting of 25-year-old William Carrillo who was hit on East Sherwood Avenue and San Pedro Street in July. Prosecutors say the case will be sent back to police.
