Retired late-night talk show host David Letterman has paid a visit to Edwards Air Force Base in eastern Kern County. He showed up unannounced and was given a tour of the base Thursday by the 412th Test Wing command chief, as well as staff from protocol and public affairs offices, plus the Flight Test Museum.
