The city of Bakersfield is getting a $500-Thousand grant from CalTrans to clean up weeds and trash on highways 58, 99 and 178. Mayor Karen Goh says 24 residents of the Homeless Center will be paid for the work on the Bakersfield Beautification Project, which is already underway.
