The Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving a Bakersfield Police car and another vehicle, where the civilian driver was killed. C-H-P Officer Tomas Martinez says the 30 year-old man and a 34 year-old female passenger were headed westbound on Muller Road around 2:20am, and the police vehicle was coming toward them on South Vineland Road…

It’s not known yet if the officers stopped at the stop sign, or if their lights or siren were on. The driver died at the scene. The others have been hospitalized.
