Highway Patrol investigators have not identified a woman who was killed in a solo vehicle crash in southwest Bakersfield. The woman, described as in her early to mid twenties, died after her car drifted off of Gosford Road near Carlock Road, overturned, and struck a brick wall. She was not wearing a seat belt. It’s not known how fast she was driving, and it also had been raining at the time. Martinez says drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factors.
