Four people have been rescued, one of them rather dramatically, after getting stranded in their raft on the Kern River. Kern County Search and Rescue was called out to Hobo Campground around 2:30 Sunday afternoon, and they were able to pull three of the men to shore rather quickly. He was pulled to safety around 8pm. None of them required medical treatment.
