The man who died when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed has been identified as 59-year-old Kenneth Armstrong of Bakersfield. The Highway Patrols says the accident happened just before 4:30 Sunday afternoon at River Blvd and Bernard Street, where Armstrong hit a curb, two traffic signal poles, and a street sign. No other vehicles were involved and investigators are trying to determine if DUI was a factor.
