MAN FACES LIFE SENTENCE AFTER 9TH ROBBERY CONVICTION

A 60-year-old man with eight previous convictions for robbing banks could spend the rest of his life in prison for a hold up in Bakersfield. Deputy District Attorney Joseph Kinzel says Ray Green used a note to threaten a teller at the Wells Fargo on California Avenue in 2021, and then led law enforcement on a wild chase up the freeway.

Green was arrested when he crashed into a tree. He’s facing 46-years-to-life in prison when he’s sentenced on August 6th.
