The 24-year-old man who died when the car he was in crashed upside down into a ditch off Copus Road was Rodrigo Calihua of Lamont. Three men and a woman who were also in the vehicle last Wednesday morning managed to get out on their own and suffered only minor wounds. The Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash that happened just east of Interstate 5.
