The Sheriff’s Bomb Squad has detonated a pair of pipe bombs that were discovered this weekend near Stallion Springs. Police there describe them as capped, cylindrical PVC devices that were found Sunday morning by a resident near Comanche Point and Jack Springs roads. Two other devices found nearby were deemed safe and taken for evidence. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call KCSO or Kern County Fire.
