bakersfield woman enters plea after alleged murder

A Bakersfield woman whose husband is accused of killing her cousin enters a plea to accessory charges. Court documents indicate Noralina Vasquez-Hernandez pleaded no contest to the charges in October and will be sentenced in December. She allegedly used bleach and other cleaning materials to wipe down their apartment on Normandy Drive after her husband Jaime Regalado-Avalos allegedly killed Claudia Vazquez, 33, who’s body was discovered in an orchard near Superior Road and Stockdale Highway in April. Vazquez lived with the couple. Investigators say the killing happened after Regalado-Avalos and Vazquez argued over personal matters.
