The search continues for a convicted killer who escaped from custody at the Delano courthouse. Cesar Hernandez, 34, reportedly ran from a state prison van, jumped a fence, and escaped from the Delano courthouse on Jefferson Street Monday morning after pleading no contest to manufacturing a weapon and possession of alcohol or drugs while in prison. Hernandez is serving 25 years to life for a first-degree murder out of Los Angeles County. He was convicted in 2019 and is serving time at North Kern State Prison in Delano.
