A man accused in a deadly shooting in Arvin enters a plea to murder charges. Armando Ortiz, Jr., 30, is being held without bail after Ariel Peralez, 29, was shot to death in May 2022 in the 1200 block of Durham Street. He died at the scene. Ortiz entered the plea on Monday and returns to court December 12.
