The California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that’s left a person with serious injuries in east Bakersfield. It happened Thursday afternoon when a sedan and a pickup collided on westbound Kern Canyon Road at Shalane Avenue. There’s no word yet on the cause of the accident or the condition of the victim.
