The challenger in the race for Kern County Supervisor Leticia Perez’s seat has conceded. Kimberly Salas fell 133 votes short of defeating Perez in the race for the 5th District, according to the final results released this week by the Kern Elections Division. Salas issued a statement conceding the race on Thursday. There will be no recount.
