The reward for information leading to the arrest of an escaped prisoner in Delano has increased to $30,000. The search continues for Cesar Hernandez, 34, who has been on the run after escaping from CDCR officers Dec. 2. He was being transported to the Kern County courthouse in Delano for charges of manufacturing a weapon and possessing drugs in prison.

Hernandez was serving a sentence of 80 years to life for first degree murder. He has ties to Kern, Los Angeles and Riverside counties.
