A Bakersfield man charged with shooting inside a vehicle and injuring a woman’s pet dogs tells a judge he’s not guilty. Jose Corrall, Jr., 31, was arrested June 16, 2024 after he allegedly fired his gun at two dogs inside a vehicle after an argument with an unknown number of people. Authorities say Corrall used a semi-automatic weapon and picked up the spent shell casings before driving away. Each dog was struck on the leg. Corral faces charges including animal cruelty and recklessly discharging a firearm. He’s being held on $120,000 bail and goes back to court February 7.
