A GoFundMe account has been established for a Kern County firefighter who lost his home to the Eaton Fire in Altadena. Greg Sliwinski and his wife Annie lost all their belongings in the fire that destroyed the home where they’ve lived since 2018. The couple have a 17-month-old son. Sliwinski was born in Poland and immigrated to the United States at the age of 15. He became a firefighter with KCFD at the age of 48.
