Rain is on the horizon after a day of strong winds that helped fuel small scattered fires across Southern California.
In L.A. County, where the Palisades and Eaton fires have carved a devastating path this month, most areas should expect to see under a third of an inch of rain this week.
The Palisades Fire is 65% contained after burning more than 23-thousand acres. The Eaton Fire has scorched over 14-thousand acres and is 89% contained.
27 people are known to have died across the Los Angeles area.
More than 13-thousand structures have been destroyed and tens of thousands people have been forced from their homes.
