A Bakersfield man has pleaded no contest to engaging in sex acts with a teenage girl. Matthew Vales, 25, was arrested on Wednesday and pleaded no contest to two felony counts. Authorities say he had a sexually explicit conversation with the girl, received sexually explicit content from her, and sent her sexually graphic videos. He faces three years in prison when he’s sentenced February 27.
