A 6th grade teacher at Golden Oak Elementary School in Shafter is facing sex charges. Zachary McGraw, 38, was charged Monday with advertising for distribution and possession of child pornography.

Bakersfield Police and other law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at McGraw’s home in the 15000 block of Pinion Court in December. He was arrested last year but wasn’t charged.

He’s being held on $70,000 bail and goes to court Wednesday.
