A judge has denied a request to further postpone a hearing on a domestic violence restraining order brought against former Kern County supervisor Zack Scrivner. The judge on Tuesday passed down a ruling ordering witnesses including police and minors to testify about happened at Scrivner’s home last year. Scrivner, 51, is prohibited from contacting his children or his wife after the restraining order was issued following an incident at their home in Tehachapi in late April where Scrivener is accused of a physical altercation with his children over allegations involving a pre-teen. The former District 2 supervisor was not arrested and has not been charged with a crime.
