Authorities say numerous files containing child pornography were uploaded through Kik Messenger accounts linked to a Shafter teacher. Police say they searched the cell phone of Zachary McGraw, 38, who teaches 6th grade at Golden Oak Elementary School after receiving an alert about the uploads and determined his IP address was used. McGraw reportedly admitted to police the phone belonged to him — and was charged this week with advertising for distribution and possession of child pornography. His home on Pinion Court in Bakersfield was searched last December but no charges were filed against him. He’s free on $70,000 bail and goes to court February 26.
