Buck Owens Crystal Palace, the popular country music-themed dinner theater and museum filled with Buck Owens memorabilia has been for sale for months, and the city of Bakersfield is considering buying it.
City officials held a closed-door meeting Thursday to continue their discussions about purchasing the 29-year-old venue.
The city could use the venue on Sillect Avenue for several different things including housing the city’s tourism bureau.
No action was taken Thursday.
Officials are also considering buying the 10-story Bank of America building in downtown Bakersfield.
