conviction after man shoots into south bakersfield house

There’s been a conviction against a man who opened fire into a south Bakersfield home.

Alfredo Comacho was found guilty Monday of several felonies including shooting at an inhabited dwelling and two counts of assault with a firearm.

Comacho fired shots into a house in December 2023 while a minor was outside and on his way to school. The child’s mother was inside the house.

Two bullets hit the home.

Comacho has two previous strike convictions and faces 45 years to life in prison when he’s sentenced March 27.
