The California Highway Patrol is asking for your help finding the driver of a Ford Fusion accused of a hit-and-run crash that left a Madera woman dead south of Bakersfield. It happened in November 2024 on northbound Highway 99 south of Houghton Road involving a vehicle and two pedestrians. Authorities say a 46-year-old man and Irma Matias, 50, of Madera were walking across traffic lanes on Highway 99 when they were struck by a driver who took off after the accident.
